Currently Out of Stock Overview As the successor to the Diablo, Lamborghini welcomed the 21st century with the launch of the Murcielago, which was further enhanced five years later with a more powerful model. Larger bore and stroke increased the 6.2 liter V12 engine to 6.5 liters and the unique tuning of the continuously variable valve timing lifted power output to 640hp. With an upgrade of the chassis and body, the final result was the Murcielago LP640. From 0 to 100km/h in 3.4 seconds put the LP640 in the top class. Specializing in midship fulltime 4WD, the sophisticated mechanical design produced excellent stability as it joined the league of Supercars.

Currently Out of Stock Overview A Japanese made engine was used at Le Mans for the first time in 1970. Coincidentally this appears to have been a Mazda 10A rotary engine. Later in 1974, the private entry of Mazda Auto Tokyo with their RX-7 entered and ita wasn't until 1984 that Mazda entered their own works team to mount a serious challenge for the Le Mans crown. Every year since, Mazda persisted until that fateful day in 1991. In that year, the 787 B spec that had been evolving with each Le Mans challenge was entered in Group C. Producing more than 750ps from the unique 4-rotor 26B engine, the mighty Mazda pushed through the field. And with 3 hours remaining, took charge of the lead and claimed the first ever victory by a Japanese car.

Currently Out of Stock Overview The spartan 911 model was regarded as being the closest road car to the race circuit. The first GT3 appeared with a de-tuned version of the factory works engine that ruled the 1998 Le Mans 24 hour race in a street version of the 911 sold in 1990. But it was a limited edition so only a small number of lucky owners could taste the exciting driving experience. However, the revolutionary 997 platform of the 911 was launched as a catalog model in 2006. In addition to the race-bred engine, the spartan wheel setup and other equipment drew admiration for its focussed running performance that made it the most formidable street Porsche since the Carrera series.

Currently Out of Stock Overview The 1999 Geneva Motor Show was stunned by the pure elegance of the Ferrari 360 Modena body, which succeeded in making the existing trend for sharp-edged wedge shape body forms into a statement of style and sophistication. The Pininfarina designed Modena revived the aesthetic appreciation of Ferrari as automobile art, especially amongst Ferrari fans. The low and wide form sits at a height of only 1,215mm and was put through a total of 5,400 hours of wind tunnel testing to find the optimal balance between style and aerodynamics. A 3.6 liter 90 degree V8 engine produces more than 400hp in a true road going racer.
